Dental Veneers

Dental veneers are designed to help enhance your smile. Veneers are shaped and custom-made in a dental laboratory. When bonded to your teeth, they can make your smile beautiful and flawless. Veneers can improve your smile by:

  • Cosmetically perfecting your smile
  • Correcting crooked teeth
  • Fixing misshapen teeth
  • Correcting severe discolorations or stains on teeth
  • Correcting teeth that are too small or too large
  • Fixing unwanted or uneven spaces between teeth
  • Repairing chipped or worn teeth

Dental veneers are very durable and generally last many years, providing you with a new and beautiful smile.

Procedure

The procedure takes place over the course of two visits to the office. In the first visit, your teeth will be prepared to receive the veneers. They are lightly buffed and the surface is shaped to prepare for bonding and the additional thickness provided by the veneers. Molds (impressions) will also be taken to alter the custom fabrication of the veneers for your teeth. The correct shade to match surrounding teeth will then be chosen by you and Dr. Nicholas Tretter.

In the second visit, the veneers will be bonded to your teeth. It is important, after the procedure, to follow recommended care instructions given by our dentist. Maintaining proper dental hygiene (brushing, flossing, etc.) can improve the longevity of your veneers. Feel free to call Nicholas Tretter, DDS at 508-829-6665 if you have questions.

Testimonials

  • "Dr. Tretter is the best dentist I've ever had. Every time I go to have work done, I feel relaxed because I know I am in good hands. I cannot imagine a more competent dentist. All the others on the staff are very professional and extremely pleasant. I know it's hard to believe, but I actually have fun whenever I visit the practice. Dr. Tretter keeps up with the latest dental technology. A crown is completed in one visit, about 2 hours long."
